Soroptimist is an international women’s organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. Almost 95,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects that benefit women and girls.

Local Projects and Programs: Currently we provide support for Soroptimist Dream It Be It Conference; Live Your Dream Award; The Olive Foundation; Shunammite Place; and College Scholarships for Madera High, Madera South High and new this year, Matilda Torres High School. We also provide funding to: Academic Decathlon; Camp Fire; and Victims Services Soup Bowl Luncheon.
Club Meetings
Our club meets at the United Methodist Church, 500 Sunset Ave., Madera CA 93637 the first, second and third Thursday of the month from 12 pm until 1 pm. Lunch is provided for a $12 fee.
