One of our ongoing hands-on projects is working with the residents of Shunammite Place. We partner with Community Action Partnership of Madera County in order to provide support, friendship and and recreation to the residents of Shunammite Place. The residents have experienced long term homelessness and have a medical or mental disability. We provide quarterly birthday parties, a Christmas party and a dinner at a local restaurant.

Our other long-term project is supporting the Olive Foundation. The Olive Foundation works to provide support for women and girls who find themselves in the world of human trafficking. Recently, Soroptimist International of Madera had the pleasure of decorating two bedrooms in the newly opened residential facility for women who have been rescued.
